WSEX Slow Payout Updates

To update, check was delayed but did arrive Tuesday. $1000 payout on a $2700 balance. Will update if the check bounces, but Ive never had that problem with WSEX. No update on the timeline for the rest, but I have been told by Maria in recent weeks that another processor is online and they hope to catch up with all requests by late Sept/early October. Have not redposited, although I did cancel a third withdrawal for a small amount and have been giving the site some action with my remaining balance.

Was told by Maria last week I would receive a partial payment of $1000 from ~$2700 owed to me with the longest request being from December 2010. Was told Id receive the check within 24-48 hours, but no tracking info. Then was told there was a delay with shipping and the check would arrive today via FedEx, and to make sure to contact her if the check didnt come. Havent received the check and cant get in touch with Maria.

trumpdown, hope you are doing well. and no not really. not like the old days when you could buy 30 or more contracts at a time. now i can buy 5 contracts at a time(live betting),multiple times. straight bets still high. but i don't bet that high anymore.

Yep. Was more fun buy/sell 30+ contracts at a time. This book was a goldmine too bad I only caught the tail end of it. Some others probably retired off this book or have 6+ figures "stuck" Think of the players who were eventually delayed only to have new accounts created and got out before it all went to hell. The question remains did this book tank from bad investments, or from never booting winners? I never heard anyone say they were completely shown the door and quite a few posters have done very well here.

don't know what happened.my guess would be pissing off the US goverment 1st, bad investing 2nd. but do think most books would have folded under similar circumstances and noone would have got anything. they are still trying. wish they would pay people that are owed the longest first. that's my biggest problem with them now.

I was with wsex about 15 yrs. ago for several years,always lost,so I never asked for withdrawal.My local book passed away and my account with wsex was still active so I re-upped last Aug.2010 w/o knowing that their rep was not like in the past when I first heard of them on 60 Minutes.I made a deposit of only $100 and got a bonus of $25.I made plays over the past year and asked for a $200 withdrawal.They deducted $200 from my balance along with the $25 bonus.I had no problem with that.I still had a balance of about $130.usd and have been making bets w/ them once in a while.It has been a little more than 2 months since I asked for the $200 and I've called them about 5 or 6 times and emailed them a few times.I get the same response that they are lining up processors and I'll get my money soon.First 2 weeks then end of Aug.2011,then 2 more weeks,and now maybe sometime in October.I've read here that a few have been paid off and I'm glad I found this site and I wouldn't have this problem if I knew of it sooner.I wish everybody luck that they get their money and any suggestions on what I can do to get mine will be appreciated.Thanks for letting me post. capgeo (also my username on wsex)

Yes, Unfortunately WSEX (SBR Rated D-) has fallen on some really hard times these past few years and it saddens me to see it happen however, these types of things happen in this industry more often than not. I filed my SBR complaints more than a year ago, and I filed twice too, and SBR pretty much did nothing for me, so what's the point of filling out the complaint if you guys can not help.

WSEX Sportsbook, delinquent withdrawals pass $500,000 mark

WSEX Sportsbook (SBR rating D-) players continue to report not being paid. The once well regarded sportsbook turned slow-pay outfit is racking up more complaints from players that are beginning to give up hope on seeing their funds. WSEX Sportsbook is currently slow-paying $501,247 to 75 players. Each of the players have submitted sportsbook complaint forms through SBR seeking assistance. The last surge of WSEX payout came in the beginning of the 2010 football season, when WSEX paid $124,617 to players. The outstanding WSEX payout requests date all the way back to 2009.

I was paid out my last 3500 owed in one installment (MB) after bothering them and receiving 500 payments over several weeks. Call/chat every morning and demand to speak to Maria, she is the only person who can apparently do anything about payouts. I will never get back into bed with them, the ship is sinking.......

I am currently owed 30,000 from WSEX. Cashout dates range from Jan 12th 2011 to the present day. Maria has promised checks on numerous dates (3 different deadlines have passed) but still I have received nothing to date.

I have called/chatted almost weekly for over 6 months now with no success. I really hope they can come through for me.....but I am becoming increasingly doubtful that I will ever see any of the money.

I was a loyal customer for 5 years and was paid regularly up until November of 2010. I can only hope they are taking care of their smaller payments first and then get to some of their bigger customers (which makes absolutely no business sense).

Others please keep the updates coming whether they are good or bad.

I don't think there are paying anyone at this time i have 2 small amounts as far as money one is 1182 and one for 1500 asked for payment in march and april of this year. like you have been promised and even told i was on a perferd list, was told they sent out payments to players last month but nothing here. Maria told me they would have everyone takin care of by October but no i here from them december. I have givin up hope of seeing any of this money and it hurts as that was my daughters diseny world money. Good luck too you

I"m waiting on 36k in check processsing and 10k in poker room. Have 46k total on site currently.

And have 9000 dollars in backed up bills due to this. 4k back prop taxes i have to pay by nov or else i get 20% fine tacked on by local government.. - 2500 owed to parents that they loaned me hoping to get repaid way sooner than this and they are at the point they wont loan me anymore basically unless a dire emergency - need to pay 2k in fines to get my license back over a fender bender on private property so i cant even drive!! for past 6 months! over this - need 300 to get retainers for my teeth as i lost one and need them so the 5k cash i paid for my braces years ago does not go down the tubes - and money for food and basic bills- no i'm not on food stamps or gov assistance.

Look guys .. wsex.com has paid up over 40k in the past and even years ago it would take 4 to 5 months to get the money.

But right now been waiting longer than that.

I love wsex.com's huge poker rakeback and their software on the poker site but obviously a love/ hate relationship right now because my only income right now is actualy playing poker on wsex.com cuz my life savings is on there! I have to pay 2k to get my license back so i need more money to do that.

They did send out a few thousand past few months to their credit but i had a 1300 dollar electric bill I had to pay. Actually my electric was shut off and the next day it was a miracle they sent out 2k. Thanks for that at least wsex. and needed some money for food and basic bills too at time cuz was flat broke.

They are lucky at least that i did pay cash for my house in years past with poker winnings and my cars are older and paid off or else just imagine that seriously i'd prob at a homeless shelter or something right now. Like i said my license is bad and hard for me to work a reg job as i can't drive. My only income for past year is playing poker on wsex.com as ALL MY MONEY is on there that i currently have in the entire world. I need to get some of that money on other poker sites to make more $ and i'm getting held up on making 100's of thousands due to this from playing poker.

I do think they will pay us and not the only poker site having probs paying people right now obvioulsly but very stressful and obviously my biggest fear in life is them going out of business and losing my life savings basically thats owed to me and 100's of hours of playing time in poker room down the drain.

I have not posted here in a while hoping i could get paid alot more and then report happily that I was getting paid a good bit of my money.

Plainly evident that they have been insolvent for at least a couple of years.

Simply trying to exist on taking in new deposits from ignorant suckers, paying their wages and costs and then sending the balance out to long overdue withdrawal requests.
