I"m waiting on 36k in check processsing and 10k in poker room. Have 46k total on site currently.

And have 9000 dollars in backed up bills due to this. 4k back prop taxes i have to pay by nov or else i get 20% fine tacked on by local government.. - 2500 owed to parents that they loaned me hoping to get repaid way sooner than this and they are at the point they wont loan me anymore basically unless a dire emergency - need to pay 2k in fines to get my license back over a fender bender on private property so i cant even drive!! for past 6 months! over this - need 300 to get retainers for my teeth as i lost one and need them so the 5k cash i paid for my braces years ago does not go down the tubes - and money for food and basic bills- no i'm not on food stamps or gov assistance.

Look guys .. wsex.com has paid up over 40k in the past and even years ago it would take 4 to 5 months to get the money.

But right now been waiting longer than that.

I love wsex.com's huge poker rakeback and their software on the poker site but obviously a love/ hate relationship right now because my only income right now is actualy playing poker on wsex.com cuz my life savings is on there! I have to pay 2k to get my license back so i need more money to do that.

They did send out a few thousand past few months to their credit but i had a 1300 dollar electric bill I had to pay. Actually my electric was shut off and the next day it was a miracle they sent out 2k. Thanks for that at least wsex. and needed some money for food and basic bills too at time cuz was flat broke.

They are lucky at least that i did pay cash for my house in years past with poker winnings and my cars are older and paid off or else just imagine that seriously i'd prob at a homeless shelter or something right now. Like i said my license is bad and hard for me to work a reg job as i can't drive. My only income for past year is playing poker on wsex.com as ALL MY MONEY is on there that i currently have in the entire world. I need to get some of that money on other poker sites to make more $ and i'm getting held up on making 100's of thousands due to this from playing poker.

I do think they will pay us and not the only poker site having probs paying people right now obvioulsly but very stressful and obviously my biggest fear in life is them going out of business and losing my life savings basically thats owed to me and 100's of hours of playing time in poker room down the drain.

I have not posted here in a while hoping i could get paid alot more and then report happily that I was getting paid a good bit of my money.

Like i said though they did at least pay me 2k past few months to their credit and i just got off the phone and supposedly they are hoping to send me 3k by end of month. Also like I said to their credit they have paid over 40k in past years and always pay up. I have never heard of somebody not getting paid eventually by wsex.com.
Thats what they said last month too but i guess something happened with the scheduling of checks with payment processor if thats the truth. Hey i dont work there in accounting with Maria so I dont know.

I will say they offer great telephone support and always very nice and supportive and they listen to me vent at least. But yeh i got bills to pay.

This story just makes me want to puke

Hi, Talked to Maria 2 weeks ago was told my first withdrawl was to be sent out last Friday, Called her again and was told the prosser sent a note the withdrawl will be on the 30th 1 week later then first thought. Hi all just fot an email that said a check was cut and sent out today the amount is far less then i was hopeing for i have 2 withdrawls one for 1182 and one for 1500 i am getting a check for 682. Iwas told by Maria that they hope to be out of the clear on all deposits after the superbowl, ( for all of us still owed money i hope wsex wins a lot lol). Yea. Their processor only allows them to pay players 10-25% of their requested withdrawal in increments. Makes sense to me...

thanks. i have hope for you too. it's been my experience that when i was told i would get some money, it came. only a couple times a week or 2 later than i was told all the others were right on time. but they all came.

I honestly dont know if posting here is going to help much cuz I really do belive they are having issues with their processors paying people as are other sites.

Although I"m sure posting here must put some added pressure to pay people who are posting here so they look better among people keeping tabs on how they are doing in the public eye/ sbr forum / or any other prominent sportsbook forum.

Even cake poker takes 2 months or more to pay people right now i've heard.

Like i said wsex has paid up over 45k to me throughout the years and i've never heard of people not getting paid eventually and do belive that they are an honest company overall plus I Think since Jay Cohen, the owner of wsex , has actually been convicted by Us Gov in past and served some hard time they are trying to be super meticulous about how they send out checks now.. even more meticulous than other sportsbooks / poker sites.

Obviously its alot to take to wait this long and go broke and i'm in financial ruin over this but I really do belive i'll get paid eventually and do believe they are having probs getting bigger checks processed by their current payment processors.

Its hard for wsex to get processors to work with them to the fact that in 2006 the Uiega law made it illegal to pay / use banks to process and transaction related to a gambling site.

But yes i'm very upset and frustrated by this more than anybody. I"m literally in financial ruins right now due to not getting paid and have over 8k in debts i need to pay.

4k - Prop Taxes - 3k to my parents - 2k to get my driver's license back as i have not been able to drive for past 6 months at least due to this situation - $ 700 in legal/ probation fees i need to pay very very soon or my po is threatening jail time / need 400 to get new retainers so my teeth dont shift and i don't lose the 5k i paid for my braces plus have to get braces again possibly

so belive me i'm as frustrated as anybody but i really do think they are having processor problems are are going to pay up eventually to everybody.

I received this email from Maria on Friday, October 28th.

A payment could be completed for anytime between the 31st of October and November 4th. That is basically any day during this coming week. At this point I am not certain on the exact day, but please check for an email from Monday during the Afternoon, between 12noon and 4pm. i have been waiting for a check for $3,000 for almost 14 months from WSEX. just today i received a check from them in the amount of $1,000. 14 months for a third of the amount of my request. i also have over 30k in my account that i've been trying to withdraw from them for years now. this 1k check i just received is like a spit in the face

They are running a ponzi sceam and that is how i got my money i called maria up and ask if the seen what happened to the poker sites and said if i didn't get some of my money i would call the us attorny general and see if they could start working a case aginest on line sites like wsex. One week after that i got a check after lots of dates with no payment. If the attorny general takes there name then they will be blocked from doning business anywere and they don't want that to happen. For those of you not getting paid at this time try that you don't have to do anything but the little fire never hurts.

Near exact same situation, received check Wednesday for 1k, requested over 13 months ago, nothing offered as news as what to expect for rest of payouts. Just a word of caution, wait a bit longer even though the check has "cleared", as I have first-hand experience of their check bouncing a few days my bank "clears" it and then eating the bank fee.

Background i had a withdrawl for $1182 went 3 monthes with Marie telling me it was the prosser and i started thinking right. In October i got a check from a canadian bank for $682.00 and thought that was all i was getting now and hoping to get more and start collecting on my second withdrawl of $1500

Flash to Friday dec 2 got an email that $682.00 was sent to me from a person in Panama sent by money grm so I went and suer enough i got the first $682.00 that was tied up by a prosser so now I have got $682.00 twice so for all of you waiting I think you will get some just not all your withdrawls.

Consequently yesterday, I contacted the accounting department to get an update on my check. They informed me that Maria wouldn't be back until January. Also, they informed me that no more checks would be issued for 2011.

What a joke. Over the past year, I have cashed out roughly 25,000. I have received a whopping $1000 of that have heard excuse after excuse.

I wish they would just pay me or tell me "we stole your money and you aren't getting any of it!" At least I could get some closure with the situation.

We have completed bank check processing for the year 2011. We acknowledge that in a previous conversation, either verbally or written, you were promised every effort to have your entire or part of your withdrawal shipped to you by December 2011. While the lack of processing companies and US corresponding banks continue to be the dominant factors for our delayed processing, we will continue through out the next few months to accomplish all the clients who were not addressed during the past couple of months.

I have not posted on this situation yet. A friend and I are both owed in the neighborhood of 1000 dollars. His withdrawal request was made a few years ago, and mine was about a year ago. I have been in contact with Maria several times while my friend has given up on the matter. Maria has given me several 'deadlines' for payments, late october, late november, and mid december. I asked her why she would even give deadlines when they know (or should highly suspect) they cannot follow through.

I am on the fence here as to whether or not we will get paid. On the one hand,

1. Maria seems to be genuninely telling the truth (as she believes it anyway),
2 some people have been paid
3. if they want to remain in business (big IF), they will likely have to pay it eventually.

on the other hand.
1. they have not followed through on MANY MANY occasions, with lies or innuendo.

I have pressed Maria for details on how what percentage of the funds have been paid from withdrawals requested 6 months ago or longer. She told me 30% (after I really pressed her, so I dont know if she made it up or not). Although many people on this forum have given their stories, I wonder if we could take a non scientific poll where eveybody chimes in once and only once AT THIS POINT FORWARD and states whether not they have been paid, along with the amount. If we find it is in the neighborhood of 30%, perhaps we can feel at ease that we will be paid. If it is in the neighborhood of, say 5%, which I kind of suspect it is, I cannot speak for all, but I will just write it off (forget about it) and if it shows up one day, I will consider it gravy.

So, I will be the first official poster here (for my friend and I). 2000 dollars not paid.

I was paid 1/3 of my W/D request of Jan 2011, on Dec 14th of this year. 4 Figure W/D request, 3 figure receipt. Something is better than nothing, I guess. Left some money in and unfortunately am having a very good year there, so will repeat the process again in January, 2012. Rinse, and repeat. Not much we can do but hope they intend to make good on everything eventually. Unlike some other deposit only shops like Cascade, they do seem to trickle out payments.
