Very nice call. That would have been a nice little payout. I didn't watch a huge amount of the session but going by times this weekend could be a lot more competitive.

I did take .5u at $8.30 for the race win just as P1 started too. So happy with that now the odds have moved into $4.80.

Stuff of note from P1

Ferrari were playing about with some significant upgrades all session.

Mercedes testing a Lotus style exhaust config for next year.

Force India having brake overheating issues in the early session heat.

McLaren are running different sidepod winglets on the two cars. And seemed to be a couple of tenths faster in first two sectors than anyone else on track every time either of them went out. Not that the time difference probably means much at this stage, but both Lewis and Jenson are comfy in their car off the truck it usually does mean good things for them for the weekend I think.

I'm going to take Vettel to top P2. Vast weight of money is trying to lay against him at $3.10 right now, so think it could drift near $4.00 by session time.

If Red Bull actually have the expected pace here I'm thinking we might see it in this session, wouldn't be surprised to see Hamilton top it again though. He just got faster and faster all through P1, by big chunks quite a few laps.

I am surprised, I didn't check practice odds but would have assumed over $5.

Thanks for the observations. I got home in time but didn't get a chance to actually sit down and watch. GL with SV, i agree this is when they will show the pace if they have it. Also P1 would have been very dusty so id imagine it will chance a lot, even right up to end of qualy. I wouldnt mind see SV stay low key, might be so value come saturday afternoon.

Going to try and make it 3-0 for practice sessions and go a half on Vettel for P3. $2.62 and drifting right now. Hopefully get $2.75 by session time.

I decided Hamilton had his car fully setup as he wanted it so would use P3 to practice his own driving more than setup the car. And he has more reason to want to psychologically top it than Vettel has... I think.

Plus the Vettel price never reached what I thought was an acceptable level to bet in a practice session

Hoping to get Vettel $2.60 to win pole now. $2.40 at the moment. Will take anything over that though.

If Vettel does win pole and ham in top 4, I'll add to my Ham race win bet straight after quali... as I think Ham odds will be best then and keep coming until race time.
