So many chances for this 4th goal too. Still time though, my fingers are crossed for you....

I'm ending this thread as it seems out of date now. I achieved my goal of getting back into the positive after a couple of really bad runs but it was not the result i was looking for. Hopefully I can be more profitable in '13.

Do you remember that conversation about how much we bet per week with my non-bettor friend at the GP? You explained confidently that it was fine because we didn't lose? (I wonder what he thought about that idea at the time) I'm a bit the same, although not as conservative as you, but we both have the same issue with making money doing this i think. I think we are more scared of losing than we have greed for winning.
Last year during good runs I actually reduced my unit size the better I was going (% wise). I really only got to cashout on the back of a crazy allin winner on Ambrose at The Glen. I have found it a bit frustrating at times too.
This year i decided I am going to be a bit more serious than last, and be a bit braver, reminding myself I'm playing with house money.
