I still can't wrap my mind around carrying a note around as a phone. That is only slightly smaller than the Nook for christ sake. Crazy stuff.

Owned two nexus'. Owned one right before I changed to the Galaxy 2. It is alright, but no where on the same level. It has a more google steamlined feel.

Hard to compare a rooted andriod to anything apple, even a jailbroken apple.

This may be the sentiment in some other survey, but of the 10 people I know off the top of my head who use the Iphone 4 or 4s, they are all pretty much locked in for life.

That's a very small sample set, current statistics are showing that more longtime iphone consumers are buying outside of Apple now.

It's been due to Apple not adjusting to the fact that more OEMs are involved in the Droid market now, meaning newer, faster, and better display devices are getting introduced all the time.

Simply put, Apple can't just sit back and release 1 new phone each year (with minimal improvements) and expect everyone to wait around for it.

Note2/Iphone5, HTC if they get their shit together should have a "Note" competitor but not as big with 2.5ghz quad core, 1080p screen, adreno 320, 2gb ram. HTC was on top for a year till Samsung shit on them.

Windows 8 will actually be able to have some nice specs now, so maybe a few underdog gems come out of it.

Motorola will basically have a Razr HD with S3/HOX specs and for their sakes the Maxxxx battery.

Other than that there's nothing else on the horizon for now.

Another reason that Apple stock will go up is because of the new connector. Apple is ditching the 30 pin connector which means you will have to buy all new accessories.

I think it depends on the new features rather than what it looks like. I dont think many people that have an IPhone complain about the size, I think that's one of the best things about it.

Bought an iphone 4s and within 3 days the screen shattered...looked like someone put a 45 in it. Worst part was it fell off the coffee table and landed on the floor (wood). It's ridiculous how fragile these phones are.

Holy crap. I have been looking into getting a tablet. If the note is truly quad-core (the only tabley that currently has that is ASUS) then I can easily see me getting the Note. Which is shocking. But the specs are stupid. My Phone will be better than my laptop. Scary.

If you're an AAPL stock holder, you realize that Apple can't get away with releasing a new phone only once a year anymore since Android & Google phones have rapidly improved with more OEMs manufacturing them. Apple's market share outside of the US is almost non-existent despite there being increasing international consumer demand.

The iphone 4S has looked horribly outdated ever since it was released in Oct 2011 with its tiny screen and bulky surrounding bezel. Take a look at it:




Here's a rendering of how the iphone 5 could look based on apparent leaked images of hardware components. Note that it's essentially the same exact design as the 4S, but simply stretched in length - chocolate bar style, but too long and still too much bezel. AAPL will take a massive hit if it indeed looks like this:




However, if the iphone 5 looks like this rendering, AAPL will be back in business and ready to challenge $700 PPS:
