1. Mods are not going to delete threads after they're a couple of hours old. There's no point as Google will have cached them by then and will always be available online to those who search a few keywords.

2. I have warned you repeatedly about this stuff. Think back to since you stopped working here and how many times you've asked for things to be deleted. It was all stuff that YOU provided them. It's a microcosm of his life. You can't delete real life though his parents have probably done for him it many times, hence why we are where we are. Thank God this kid never got the itch for drugs.

They haven't complained LV. And even then, the argument would go to who owns that recording. Same as when people post video on YouTube of randoms fighting in McDonald's, a cop beating someone or whatever - which we've seen here many times. They didn't know they were being recorded and yet their faces get splashed across the 6pm news, let alone thousands of online sites. Or the fat guy/ugly girl whose picture is used as a meme. And unfortunately, even if this comes down now it'll forever be available through a simple Google search. This is what I've warned Bobby about countless times - he understands this. Somehow it's just escalated from one video a year ago of Mr Big going off about Dean (which was never posted back then by the way by anyone who had access to it) to what I've seen in the two threads the past couple of days. Still a bit stunned to be honest.

Oh and in case I was a bit vague, I'm all in favour for the thread to come down. I wouldn't want anyone to go through something like this, let alone Bobby. It's one thing to bust VegasInsider for really being RhodeIslandInsider or to laugh at posters who lose the plot but this is at the point where most people would feel sincerely uncomfortable/upset watching this transpire. But I realise I'm too close to the situation to make a proper judgement call so I'll trust those I work with and in reality, the damage is done thanks to the wonders of the Internet. The situation in private is very different (you probably wouldn't remember, but do you remember the Andrew Ettinghausen shower photos? Guy got 100K). I don't know, but technically there is probably a cause of action of some kind. I wouldn't think it would be worth the legal fees or the fact that Bobby's family will probably get all of about 10c in damages. There is no loss.

I guess all the stuff over the last year has confirmed how much you really miss us chat guys Shari? Tinychat life is great. All this time you have been modding, you could have been looking at Bobby's rooster and Patty's anus with the rest of us.

Yeah but in that case, wouldn't Bobby's parents have to be suing Bobby since he's the one who recorded it? At least in the case of the first Mr Big/Dean recording and that of his grandmother. The photos, yeah I could see how that could maybe apply but in reality how would that work when their own family member was the one who turned the camera on and broadcast that information? Would be interesting to have Boner come in and tell us the legal stuff around that.

Despite all the drama with the chat guys, I actually think they're all a riot for the most part. But it seems things have gone way beyond what it was when it was just a few of us chatting about games, trying to give Patty life advice, deciphering drunken babble, Peter and I talking about love and tennis, listening to someone get reamed out by their mother for turning up the heat or them listening to me do dishes while we tried to discuss line movement. Oh yeah, realistically no-one is getting charged over the recording. Bobby's parents or Grandmother would need to make a complaint. The law in this area is very complicated and differs all around the world. I know for a fact Aus, UK and the US all have differing laws on this. Aus needs both parties consent. I'm pretty sure most states in the US only require 1, which would mean that no offence has been committed.

Publication of any secretly recorded conversation becomes a whole new story... I want Justin7's views on all this.

As far as any civil action goes, you're right - practically it won't happen, but it technically could. It would never get that far - all they would need to do is email SBR and get you guys to take it down. If they were looking for damages, as I said, this is Bobby's family we're talking about. They have lost nothing. There are no damages.

I think chat changed a lot when it became on webcams and mics more; particularly Bobby. We saw him get stranger and stranger by the day and playing out for attention, which he craved. You'll remember even before tinychat that Bobby used to love getting on justin.tv and us going in there and laughing at him cheering games in. He's always been a exhibitionist and tinychat has made things a lot worse. He will do anything for 2 minutes of attention without considering the consequences, such as broadcasting all of these things that should be private. Apart from Bobby, most of us in there are sane and not attention whores. You will notice almost all of the shit you see posted involves Bobby. You don't see me, spankie, sov, stacocakes etc with anything out there.

As for Patty, my sources (whose accuracy is often pretty poor) now tell me that this was an excellent shit stirring effort by our friend who enjoys browsing those kind of sites. No prizes for guessing who. The resemblance is brilliant.

To be honest, I forgot that whole group existed - not the people, just the premise - until this weekend. How lucky am I - a higher up guy at my other job has been bugging me for ages because I keep talking about my 2nd job, blah blah. So he finally comes to check this place out this wknd. I get a msg with 2 links on Facebook: One to the other Bobby thread and another to a thread where a poster is referring to me as down under stinky fish because he assumed I'd moved his precious points bet thread even though 99% of people know I don't even work on wknds. Lovely. And of course his comments under the link: Why the f are you working there?

So then I started to look at the threads.

This is not the chat that I used to know and that's not a bad thing necessarily. Obviously there's more freedom for everyone to do whatever. However this is way beyond the norm I think. It went from Bobby doing play by play of games on justintv in his philly pj's to him rocking out with his c#$* out? I've said this to him so I have no problem posting it but all of those things we learned in high school about trying to be one of the guys, and then realising that there are repercussions to trying to be the the source of the 3min laugh, he doesn't seem to have learned that yet. Which is cool but trying to erase things from memory, and especially forums, won't work as it's all saved forever. This stuff seriously hurts my heart as I'm very close to Bobby but he also needs a wake up call. This wouldn't be my choice of how to do it but it's done now. Using your family and personal stuff for a source of amusement or pity will eventually backfire unless you're prepared to stand up and do something. Maybe he doesn't want to, and that's cool too. But then don't waste anyone's time when we try our best to help.

Chat has definitely changed. Bobby having the ability to broadcast his life 24/7 with a willingness to do anything for attention changed it forever. It is a fairly harsh lesson, but he'll learn from it hopefully. I know it must look like the guys in chat egged him on and created this, but it wasn't how it was. Bobby would honestly just do a lot of that stuff on his own in full knowledge he was on camera being recorded. Sure, we'd laugh at him, but then tell him we were laughing AT him and to stop. His cam was even closed regularly. I have to say from what I saw (and I wasn't there for a lot of it) a lot of the guys genuinely tried to help him and god know he does a lot of dumb shit. He was an unstoppable embarrassment machine. The reason this is coming out now is because the guys are just sick of his shit and banging their heads against the wall.
