The funny thing is that it was an empty baggie. If my high school had a zero tolerance policy as his did, half the school would've been suspended for empty baggies, roaches, etc. I can't judge him for that just like I'm trying really hard to not believe Zimmerman was just a frustrated wannabe cop who knew he wouldn't make the force because of his previous run-ins with the law.

Reading stuff like this though doesn't help:

Loubert, doesn't matter how tough you are when youre dead. If someone broke into your house but didn't have a weapon would you fight them or kill them? One 0f the inherent risks in carrying a firearm(s) is having to use it as part of retention. I have a simple policy with my carry weapons, it only comes out when I have to use it. I may give you a warning like, "I have a gun and will kill you if you proceed any further", but I sure as hell am not going to roll in the grass with a .45 acp holstered to my side....this guy is going to get off (The dispatcher (not a cop) was quoted as saying "we don't need you to do that." Not, "do not follow him." big difference). Just like Zimmerman shouldn't have pursued, maybe Martin should of decided to not engage this guy...I sure as hell hope he didn't confront him after he knew he was armed but it wouldn't surprise me.

I think what Lou was referring to is that Zimmerman is already guilty in the peoples public court. Doesn't matter how well you rationalize EI or the conclusions we come to on here. Reality is, as Lou was getting at, is once this guy is found, he's dead. Whether it's in prison, his car, home, hell maybe even a court room. There are a lot of people that are so angered by all of this, they want to kill Zimmerman. And all of the racist banter on here and all the "he deserved to die" and "knee-grow" comments just fuel the fire.

You have zero evidence to support what you are saying. The one witness that was there said he was going back to his car and got jumped....the evidence will show that. I carry a weapon and if someone was following me, I'd run.

speaking of no evidence.. the witness did not see the beginning.. only the end when some guy was on the ground getting beat up.

Now, listen carefully to part of Zimmerman's call to police as he followed Trayvon in his truck. When Trayvon starts to run away, you can hear Zimmerman get out of the truck to follow him. You can listen for the door opening, the car beeping to indicate the door had opened, and shutting as Zimmerman follows on foot.

It's not a debate who engaged who here, zimmerman says he lost track of martin then got attacked, either way zimmerman engaged martin. Another fact.

The use of a racial slur is in dispute. What the dispatcher knew is irrelevant, they are operators. Not sure what bearing it would have in the case. When is the last time you heard someone under the age of forty use the word "coon"

How do you know this? He got out of his car and then lost sight of him, it's on the tapes. Either way, a 200lb fat guy engage a 140lb 6'3'' athlete. When you fear for you life you run. He decided to "stand his ground" against a guy carrying a 9mm. If Trayvon was armed, he would have been in his every right to shoot Zimmerman....it just didn't turn out that way.

Zimmerman paces back and forth with gun still in his hand confused on what to do now
Zimmerman has an epiphany and came up with a suitable story
Zimmerman tell his story to the police of the account but Trayvon couldn't tell his...
