I don't recall reading about a self-defense case that involved one person literally chasing the other. Throw in the fact that the person being chased is an unarmed 17-year old. Like Zimmerman said, he "looked suspicious". What was so suspicious about him? His wearing a hooded sweatshirt? His walking? His carrying a bag of skittles and a soft drink?
Zimmerman not only disobeyed the orders of a 911 operator to not pursue Trayvon, he also appears to have muttered a racial epithet moments before gunning down the unarmed kid. Zimmerman likely plans to use the alleged broken nose to paint his self-defense case, but it's sickening. Had he not chased, then approached, and likely scared the living daylights out of an unarmed kid, his face doesn't get fcked up and Travyon isn't buried underground.
Another thing that bothers me, is why wasn't Zimmerman given a test for drugs or alcohol? He needs to go down on at least a manslaughter charge and the police dept needs to be reviewed.Comment -
Wikkid - sure Trayvon is skinnier but he's also listed as 6'3'' and plays football in Miami area and in his physical prime whereas Zimmerman is a pudgy balding desk jockey...who also mentors black kids in his area and airing right now on Dateline is his black neighbor who is siding with him..not only saying hes no racist as then $10k Black Panther party 'wanted dead or alive' reward insists....but he's also just pissed off that in the last few months 8 of his neighbors have been burglarized and he actually caught another guy in progress of breaking in to a home a few months back and called police who got their on time then and arrested the guy..neighborhood loved him.
Its not as if he chased the kid with the gun out and firing...witnesses and police both say it was in his waistline until the fight started and it was there when police arrived and cuffed Zimmerman and secured it on scene.Comment -

I for one never said he was racist. He did provoke this whole situation by following the kid. He has a gun and outweighs this kid and was chasing him. The fact that he had to say he has his hand in his waste band "AND HE IS BLACK MALE" raises suspicions on his motives. Medical Examiner ALWAYS checks bodies brought in for these....if the Pope is brought in after he passes he would too....required to do so for documentation. Zimmerman wasn't tested because he showed no signs of being under the influence so 4th amendment allows him the pass. If Trayvon had survived the shot wound he wouldn't have been tested for the same reason.Comment -
MLD - I'm just not so quick to judge with all of the one sided statements that came out from an entire TEAM of attorneys for one party and not to mention the one witness who they used actually changed her story once the cameras were on her...she'd given a sworn statement in favor of Zimmerman but once Al Sharpton and his bunch calls her and asks for help..suddenly she's adapted her version a little.
Add this to the fact that the State's Attorney has said they have a decent size folder of other evidence and witness reports...tonight's Dateline had Zimmerman's black neighbor on defending him and he mentions earlier today that he;s been assured by the family of Zimmerman and others there that night that Trayvon was the aggressor once the FIGHT started and not just the seeking out of a non resident in a neighborhood with a lot of recent break ins by a resident who was simply trying to keep eyes on him until the cops responded - people say "he hunted trayvon down, he was stalking him'....then why the fuckkk is he sitting for several minutes talking to 911...then following him and describing their location...and so forth when if he was hunting him he could have just popped him in the head from his SUV as Trayvon was standing there earlier....and why did he wait on the scene for the cops to show up if it was a hunting murder? Just saying.....step back from the media hype and the attorneys spoon feeding them and look at the facts of the case with objectionable eyes.Comment -

So in Florida, If I want to kill someone, I just get a conceleaed weapon permit.....Then I follow the person I want to kill and talk shit to them......Then when things start to get physical (Which they obviously will if some stranger is mouthing off to you and following you for no reason).....
