Valparaiso looked great against butler, 14-2 at home, Valp. beat Detroit twice in two close games this year and Detroit has had a tough game here in this tourney and played 3 games already. Probably another one of my square plays like Michigan state. It looks too good at that price.

Good start to the day grits. I took villanova last night but I am a little weary tonight, they are finally healthy and have played alot of good teams close over the last few weeks but they are still losing and this is a good south florida club that needs this win to get in the big dance . I will probably pass on most games tonight, taking oklahoma and parlaying UCLA ,Colorado, Miami (nba) and the thunder(nba).

Huge day here grits. NC state, Miami and Northwestern have to win today, I think Alabama needs to win but they should be in. Maybe we can back some hawaii money, I was reading this morning Hawaiis top shooter and their point guard Zane johnson is out of the game with mono.

Idaho just beat up on them on the island in a game where I had money on hawaii. Idaho is 7-1 in their last 8, hawaii limps in here 2-6 in their last 8. I hate these wac games but with hawaiis problems and this one being away from the island, I am going with Idaho -5.5.

Don't want to derail the thread/pics of Grits' girlfriend, but just as an fyi I used to play poker all the time with some ticket writers from the Harrah's book (which has common ownership with the Rio) and they made next to nothing there. If the pay was more than minimum wage it was only barely, and they almost never got tipped. One writer told me the only guy who tipped him ever was a small time horse player who would tip dimes if he won. And I don't mean dimes as in $Ks, I mean dimes as in the coins. All of them wanted to get into poker or table games dealing to make more $. YMMV
