Now that I'm not working, I have a bit of time to respond. I actually do think you care. I've never seen you post anything to the contrary. I also think you became bothered by something that offended you because it hit too close to home. I understand that as well. Anyone who says they don't understand that/is never bothered by ANYTHING online... I really don't believe 100%. And fwiw, I found sideloaded's post tasteless. He knew what he was doing by posting it. Just like those guys do who post anti Muslim pics in Paco threads, pics of guys in turbans to try to attack lakerboy, onetrickpony and our other posters who have said they're Indian, the sicko posts that were made towards my own child and Opie's. In fact I see things that still bother me a bit on here many times a day if I were to be honest.

I will say this though... for the past year I've worked at SBR I've really had to change my world view (mainly I had to grow the f up). There are so many international posters here who have let us know that they're offended by Hiroshima bombing pics, pics of German Concentration Camps, a foreign leader being dragged through the street with blood over his face, their religious leader/faith being mocked, people with developmental disabilities being laughed at, pictures of starving kids being posted for laughs, etc... So yeah, I'll still probably grimace when I see a few things but it can actually lead to a proper discussion as to why it's so hurtful, teach people why they should be more sensitive, try to enlighten people as to where you're coming from, etc...

Should someone get banned? Sure, if John says so. But I will say now that I can pull up posts from many people in this thread that were just as offensive to other posters from different cultures/religions/sexual orientation, etc... No one's cause is more important than someone else's. It's time for all of us - including myself and what I believe - to get over ourselves in 2012.
