At work on a scissor lift installing 8' florescent lights in a Ollies store. I heard about it from a radio I had zipped tied to the lift.
We took break right after outside and it never seemed so quiet around...We stayed and finished the day out.

I was a Pro Horseplayer living in Phoenix at the Time sitting at the Kitchen Table reading the racing form getting ready for the card at Fairplex my wife called me and told me to put on the tv.Spent the next at least 7 days flipping between Fox and CNN barely slept did not want to leave the tv.

I was fresh out of highschool & working in South beach on a hi-rise as a electrician. We were all sent home early morning & didn’t even know what was going on exactly until I got home. Felt like the world was coming to an end for a moment.

I was at the lowest elevation of a refinery in Louisiana supervising the installation of an explosion proof pump in a can as it is called. No communication for about an hour after the initial attack, then we got word to move to safety locations where I watched the 1st tower fall within about 2 minutes of watching the news.

Heading to work as a tile installer. The boss and I worked for about an hour and decided we just couldn't do it, called it a day, and I just watched TV the rest of the day. On 14 September, I re-enlisted in the Army.
