black people do this to this day. i work with one. so, well, i mis-spoke...A black person does this to this day on casual fridays where in work. an otherwise fashionable person mind you.

why this rolling up the pants thing started i do not know, but i do know this...my mom wouldn't buy me more than one or two pair of jeans per like every 18 months, and when you're growing it can be a bitch to figure out how long your jeans need to be if they're still going to fit comfortable and they're going to draw up some in the wash. so while i did not start the trend, i would always tell my mom when we were at target or wherever that i would rather get the longer pair of pants so if they drew up in the dryer then they would still be cool, and if not i could just roll them up. i wouldn't be surprised if this trend started from some type of related white-ass thinking.

I will agree and say a lot of the white youth are not happy with their skin color, and try to be something they aren't but blacks do follow in the footsteps of white people. They may not want white skin but they do follow our styles. And black athletes really only have basketball on lock. Yes there are a ton of great black athletes in other sports, such as hank aaron (whom is an all time favorite of mine) but he will never be as well known as babe ruth. And yes white girls do go after blacks but once they grow up they will understand that hood mentality will only get them so far (not limited to just blacks any more). And how can you claim obama is black? He is half white. Its funny how people claim this zimmerman guy is white, yet he is half hispanic and looks it, yet obama is black while he is also half white too. Whites do it right, we may not be hip but we get shit done, that is why there is not one third world country populated dominantly by white people.
