Is Shopping At A "Dollar Store" Ghetto?

I love shopping at Family Dollar, so many common things are cheaper in there like soap shampoo things like that. Also poptarts and other food like that. Sometimes they got deals on plain white t's, and air freshnor spray.

I have a dollar store a block away from me and I shop there. Just cleaners, paper towels, tp, etc. Never food. The cookies look like shit.

Dollar stores here in Australia tend to be in malls, at least where I live so you see them all of the time. And they have awesome deals - especially if you have kids. I don't buy toiletries from there because I'm pretty picky about that stuff but when I'm near one I'll grab cleaning supplies and a few cheap toys that I know my son will just get sick of in a day anyway as he would with most expensive ones. Doesn't make any sense to pay more for a product that does the same thing or will eventually end up in the rubbish bin anyway.

I shop at Wal-Mart because it's one of my only choices where I live. There are some good ones, but most of them are full of trashy mutha fukkaz. You'll see some shit at Wal-Marts that you won't see anywhere else, especially in the South.

i wouldn't buy toothpaste or anything like that which you put in your body , otherwise why not save money, walmart you are paying for their massive buildings and alot of cases they are open 24hours which adds to the cost of items

It depends on what you are buying. stuff like paper towels and soap are probably just as good. Cheap food is usually a bad idea. I bought cheap hot dogs once and they sucked.
