Fox gets the shows the average SBR poster doesn't watch.
Like Glee, Idol, stuff like that.
SBR posters do watch Simpson's and Family Guy but don't kid yourself, Glee and Idol are ratings monsters.

CBS doesn't need Sheen's show, of course the ratings are great when it's on, but that show was like the cherry on top of the Sundae, it's great to have it, but the Sundae is just as delicious without the cherry also.

CBS makes so much money, it's ridiculous.

if he comes back, i guarantee you the ratings will be triple than before. the 1st show back for him might beat mash for the most watched episode of all time. that show will eventally become the biggest ever and surpass seinfeld if Charlie comes back.

The darker side of me thinks it was all a PR campaign. The show played into Sheen's actual personna anyway, so almost anything that happened in the "real world" was compatible with the show.

i have a hard time thinking it was all pr. it started out like exactly that but has turned out to be kind of ugly the more you hear of him. Then again.. any publicity is good publicity as they say.
