I think Mexican food is the best, not sure what the differences might be between Mexican food and Spanish food.

WTF?? Spanish food is from Spain, not Mexico, Dominican, etc....

Finally someone realizes this. Spanish meats are very good. The rest of the food tends to be a little bland compared to American cuisine, but it is still very tasty and i would eat it 7 days a week if I could.

Yah, but I think alot of Americans are geographically challenged. Mexican food is from Mexico. The "Mexican" food that most Americans are familiar with isn't Mexican food at all; it's called Tex-Mex. Food from the Dominican Republic or any other country in that region would be classified as Caribbean, and is pretty similar to Louisiana cuisine (with the exception of coconut being added to Caribbean dishes). And, of course, Spanish food is from Spain. All very tasty, though.

I agree. The only difference I noticed was that the Mexican restaurant in my hood, uses yellow rice and the spices maybe a little bit difference. All the Dominican spots I been to, use white rice only. Maybe its just a NY. I never even see tacos in the Mexican restaurant.

We do have a couple relatively authentic Mexican spots were it is mostly takeout, but they have like 3 and a half tables in there as well. We also have a few franchises of those restaurant chains that do more Tex-Mex.

I don't know about Spanish food, but I love Mexican food and could eat it every meal.
