This girl I know works on a cruise ship, she does seminars on the ships. The stories that she tells are fukked up. Almost every show on the cruise is deliberately timed not to be longer than 45 minutes. Why? Because they can't go longer than 45 minutes without eating. It could be a concert or and Ice skating performance ... once 45 minutes or so elapses, they start leaving and head to the buffet.

Some go on these cruises because it's cheaper than buying groceries for the week.
