biggest issue with 4.0 is that it doesn't save your tabs when you close the browser or have to reboot

Sure it does. When you start the browser back up, it will ask you on the opening page.

Sounds like you have issues. The search bar works fine for me.

Anyone using chrome should check out Comodo Dragon, it's a chrome mod without googles usage tracking crap.

I tested Chrome out a few times, but I forget why I keep stop using it. Maybe I will test it again to see why.
