Baseball is stimulation of the mind. The games within the game is where it is at. Pitcher/Hitter, Pitcher vs runner on base, Manager & Fielders vs Hitter, Manager vs manager. Your mind never stops if you are paying attention.

Far more exciting than
1. Skate to the blue line
2. Get trapped
3. turn it over
4. then skate to the other blue line
5. get trapped
6. turn it over,
7. repeat, repeat, repeat.

Just because they are moving doesn't make it action packed. Soccer they are always moving too.

Ask most fans what the best part of hockey is and the majority will tell you it's the fights. Kind of like watching NASCAR to see if there is a crash. Basically a mindless waste of 3 hours or however long it takes.
