There is good in this World. We all go through these times, some of us hide it better than others but you have a lot to offer to the World and there is a lot to be offered to you if you look for it. Life's too short, yes miserable at times, but no reason to cut it short.

take up gardening, need to find some kind of hobby

also a great investment because world corn supply is going to take a huge hit in the next 10 years. So all those people out there that hate on america will have a lot too say when our food exports get cut in half. It is becoming more profitable to grow the corn stalk and process it for ethanol, than it is to grow corn and harvest it.

Bateman I am at the same place that you are and have always hated life even though it has been extremely good and sucessful. January 13, 2013 is date selected by me to end it all. I do not make dying a bad thing nor suicide. I believe that there is no right or wrong, simply my way or your way. We are all the writer, director, and actor of our own life and know exactly what we believe and need. The only thing that I can tell you is that you are not alone and that it doesn't go away. Learn to deal with it for your families sake by simply accepting it and that it is OK and quite natural. The feeling is yours and OK, accept it but honor it no more. Whenever it comes up, put an X through it and send it into the white light. Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. I have alot of quotes I like on the wall in front of me that helps alot.

Bateman, I'm not going to give you a sappy response but I know that is my initial inclination. The boys are too jaded here and it appears, so are you. But I will tell you this. I have a friend of mine that was given prescription meds (Oxy's eventually) to relieve pain from a car accident he was the victim of and had many operations to repair the damage. He told me the worst thing that ever happened to him was the drug addiction and not the accident itself. He told me he now understood how women can sell their children for another fix. It is a feeling so lonely, it can be difficult to escape. There are others feeling the same way you are and if misery does indeed love company, consider yourself in a crowded room.

I don't know you, probably will never meet you but the pain, if it is real, is palpable. I cannot excuse some of the responses from one human being to another even if this is a contrived, perverse attention grab. Because the thing here is that nobody, except you, knows if what you're saying is true. If it is then these callous remarks are as sorrowful as your struggle. Make a call Bateman and seek out someone to sit with even for a half hour. One step at a time. If you want you can PM me and leave me your number and I will be happy to talk to you.
