To use a tragic set of mistakes and make it about whatever the hell you stand for politically is a disgrace.
Multiple lives were lost yesterday. Not just the driver, but the shooters as well. His life will never be the same again. And how about their children, and spouses, and aunts, uncles, cousins. This has shattered multiple families and lives.
So what does this thread do? It allows childish behavior, memes, and half truths to be spoken by faceless and nameless people who have nothing better to do than use it for whatever the hell they think or are told they are standing for politically.

If you don't agree with what ICE is doing, you have all sorts of other options. Legal options. Legislative. Elections. Have the laws changed. Inserting yourself in the middle of a police operation, any police action, is stupid as she unfortunately found out.
I feel bad for the ICE agent, but he had little choice.

I don't know about you, but whenever I am driving around and I see a police operation of any kind going on, no matter where it is, my first instinct is always to drive towards it. I think most people are the same. Maybe I am wrong. If I am lucky to get there early enough, I always park my vehicle in the middle of the road. Even when taking a taxi. What irks me is when posters want to come off as someone reasonable that truly has a handle on things. But when I see regurgitated sound bites from news outlets or something flat out wrong or posted in it's worst light when it is clear there are more photos available that prove their statements as misconstrued at it's least, and slanted or flat out misleading purposely in most cases, I need to remind myself who I am trying to converse with.
I can only hope that nobody is stupid enough to read this trash and even begin to be swayed by all the blatant misleading posts here.
And to be honest, (and I know it is not your decision or choice, and this IS a business and driving traffic runs the model ), I find it hard to swallow that this website allows a platform for this level of hate and inaccurate fake news to continue because it will only get worse.. Unfortunately, there are people that look to be swayed and that is not a problem if what they have to read is the truth. Not a half truth, or a misleading photo, but the truth.
Hard for me to find much of that in here. Of course, some of the posts are by people whose views I might or might not agree with, but seem to be the type of person I could have a beer with while talking to and appreciate them. But it's those that come in here with a close minded agenda to mislead, lie, or persuade others to believe them and therefore insult everyone else that might think differently that make me sick.
