Honestly, I am disgusted with the whole thing at this point. I cannot believe that lawmakers on both sides don't realize this. Some have to, but self preservation comes into play with that.
I see it as a tight rope walk, being in either party and having to agree with things that deep inside, I can't imagine many law makers honestly do. So I guess the term shit show, holds true for both parties. at least in my view.

Like most things, eventually, most ideas come back towards the center. I'm certainly ready when they are, from both ends.

In the mean time I'll just hope that occurs sooner rather than later.
