And regarding your last comment about politicizing tragedies. The "system" was the reason why there was no masks and other equipment needed for healthcare workers when Covid hit. Firefighters are standing around on the street with their fire hoses out and trying to save a burning home but can't because there is no water coming out.

I never insinuated that having water would stop 100mph winds, but it doesn't take a genius to understand water is effective against fire. In other words, while having water to the fire department wouldn't have saved every property, it would have saved some for sure. The fact that I even need to explain this to another human being is beyond belief.
