Liberalism, in America at least, is rooted in using the government as a weapon to make the groups you love better off at the expense of the groups you hate. It's a philosophy that will never work because it equates success with oppression and exploitation, and the way to get ahead is through being the biggest victim. They don't want what's best for people they flippantly call fascists. The liberals want those people to suffer.
MAGA isn't rooted in And Rand philosophy, it's rooted in the mercantilism that dominated the western world 200 years ago. Britain repealed the Corn Laws and was much better for it. Putting tariffs on imports is like putting an embargo or military blockade on yourself. If Trump wins, it will be tough for businesses to run when they have no idea what their costs will be in a week. Today what you need costs $10, but in a week it might be $30 because Trump decided to put a tariff on imported goods.Comment -

I didn't celebrate their deaths. Their deaths were warnings for people like you who would not listen. Especially the ones that led other people to the grave. You on your island didn't know anyone that died, you are still in denial, versus dozens of people dying in my city. You still believe only people with multiple comorbidities die from Covid. No I never took the experimental drug. Neither have 90% of my friends and family. My Mom and sister in Vancouver didn't either as per their doctor's advice. The doctor never took it either and neither did his family. My Mom is 81.
I never said ONLY people with comorbidities died.
