On Sunday, Biden told a Las Vegas crowd he met with François Mitterrand, a French president who has been deceased for 28 years. Biden made the blunder while retelling the story of a gathering with French President Emmanuel Macron at a G7 meeting shortly before he entered the Oval Office.

We the people of these United States have been thrust into a nightmare scenario as we go through, arguably, the strangest era in our history. When President Trump was in office, he opened the oil spigot and soon made the U.S. energy independent. Under Trump’s leadership, in 2018, the U.S. surpassed Russia and Saudi Arabia to become the world’s largest producer of crude oil. The move alone helped spur the economy and lower prices on just about everything we use. Biden immediately turned off that spigot, resulting in high inflation and more dependence on foreign oil. And that was just the beginning of Biden’s assault on the U.S., including opening our southern border to millions of illegal aliens, as he used executive orders to reverse everything Trump did to make our country greater.

The invasion of our border by scores of foreign countries is nothing short of a declaration of war! Yet, instead of using our military to fight off the invasion, Biden lies to us about the border’s security while using our military to protect Ukraine’s border. It’s become evident that the left is willing to use any means necessary to weaken our country. Voters in the 2024 general election should keep in mind the question: are we better off now than we were four years ago? No sensible person could answer that question in the affirmative. As much as I hate to admit it, the left, with its nefarious allies in the MSM and the total corruption of the “justice system,” is winning the war with propaganda.

Republicans DEMANDED something be done about the border in order to approve Ukraine aid.

Then, Republicans FLUSHED their own border bill, the one Democrats hated and gave up a ton.

NOW, the Senate just voted to break a filibuster in order to pass $95B in Ukraine funding WITHOUT any of the border stuff.

President Biden is playing 4D chess, folks.

Here's a fact: As long as Ukraine is fighting against Russia's invasion, WE DON'T HAVE TO.

No American soldiers are at risk.

Additionally, we're sending Ukraine all of our OLD stuff, so we get updated, NEW stuff.

That creates jobs and money.

SO, we get to help our ally defend themselves, with ZERO risk to our own soldiers

We get the latest NEW equipment for our armed forces

AND we create a bunch of jobs in the process...

I'll be honest with you. I've always believed that we shouldn't be putting our noses in other people's business. and certainly not fighting their wars for them. (both literally and figuratively speaking). Yes, if we can offer a little bit of help, aid, and assistance to those that desperately need it, OK. but I can tell you this much. It's not that I'm anti Ukraine or PRO-Russia. truth be told, they are one and the same to me no matter how hard Ukrainians try to tell you otherwise. they were all part of the former soviet union during the Communist regimes. However, living over here in Cyprus now for almost 1.5 years, I see hundreds of Russians and Ukrainians every day. and hear both sides of the story. Believe me, without going into any specific details (because we could start a whole another thread that would last for years and never find a satisfactory conclusion.) Ukrainian president Zelensky is not the angel or hero that everyone makes him out to be and Ukraine is not completely innocent of any wrongdoing. Believe me, I have absolutely no love for Putin either but there is plenty of blame to go around on both sides. It's kind of similar to our very own US civil war. (if you are looking for an accurate analogy).

None of that reference to past history justifies the unprovoked invasion and ongoing attack on Ukraine for the past 2 years. Particularly targeting the civilian population and involving so many documented war crimes.
