Rich people rarely go to jail in the USA. Regardless of the number of crimes they commit.
I have no doubt he is guilty of many of these and other crimes, but I will still be surprised if he spends one day in jail. Can't understand how the GOP supporters are always OK with the people they support getting away with crimes. They would not give one damn about you going to jail for a crime. Why should they get a pass.
Mr. Trump a pillar of the community, that's why he has paid millions in fines over the years for wrongdoing.

Trump is a risk taker and has been his entire life. You have to have a huge set of balls to build the buildings he did in NY with all the corruption you have to deal with in order to get anything done. Yes, he's made mistakes along the way and you are only too glad to point them out every chance you get. The fact is, he's done a lot of good as well. He's employed thousands of people over the years and before running for president, there wasn't nearly the level of hatred towards the man as there was before June 2015. Not just towards him but anyone who dared support his political objectives to make the country great again.
The media hated that he called them out for their lies and incompetence and the politicians (on both sides) despised him for the same reason. They had a good thing going before Trump announced he was running. The liberal main stream media had just about a monopoly on the news and the politicians were doing their best to appear like they gave a shit about the country while they were raping it and making themselves filthy rich. Most people who follow politics knew this for years. We saw the blatant bias and lies in the press. We saw the trillions being wasted on pointless wars in other countries while the problems in the US weren't being addressed. Its much easier just throwing money at the problems because there is no accountability. Trump talked about these things for years. He saw what China was doing. He saw how big and inefficient government was. He saw the crumbling infrastructure and how it took years and millions of dollars to get anything done because of all the red tape government imposed.

It used to be a strong point that the GOP pushed (deregulation not more) and was part of most of their speeches, they did a better job of sticking to it years ago, now they just say less regulation. They will deregulate, decades of employees fighting for good safety standards and equipment required to do the job safely and SOP's for a safe work environment.
They will tie the hands of anyone who advocates for the working man so he can work safely.

So Sam Bankman-Fried is being remanded because he provided information to the New York Times.
Seems that perhaps if the same standard were implied to a certain orange criminal defendant who is awaiting trial, that defendant would have been jailed long ago.
