^^^Kids suck, they cost too much money, most have issues and are spoiled brats as they grow up these days, break shit and are a handful to take care of. I'm so glad I never had kids and always pulled out.

Hmmm, maybe if you asked my kids, they will tell you otherwise.

I've already asked my kids if they wanted to go home and they said no.

I tell them if they ever want to go home, then all they have to do is tell me and we go home.

I guess I need to provide a bit more information.

Since they are doing the Cyber classes, they aren't attending school physically.

At home, they have nothing to do. No external activities because of the COVID shutdown initially.

They just stayed home and play games online on their laptops.

Here in AC, all three hotels I stay, Bally's, Borgata, and Hard Rock, have an indoor pools and they are really good pools, so my kids like to go swimming all the time.

As far as the food goes, we eat buffets all the time, so my kids are getting sick of it so we cut down to less frequent visits.

We have the boardwalk to walk on any time, we get to go to the beach any time, we go to huge arcade at what used to be Showboat whenever they want.

I want these kids to learn how to ride bicycle, so they can ride it on the boardwalk whenever they want.

So, for us at the moment, AC provides more possible activities for my kids.

This is a win win. You do know a lot of these guys that are answering still live with their moms or in a tailor park and would never even think of doing something like this. Sounds like you have it handled. Winter may get a little boring but it is boring at any other cold weather place.

I told you my younger one likes to watch what I'm doing as she is very curious one (which is a sign of intelligence) and she just came over to my bed and looking over my shoulder and reading what I'm reading, so I had to stop reading to prevent her from reading the posts. LOL

I was up until this morning dealing with this thread and another board's thread and I finally got the other guy to shut up for assuming and talking bullshit about me by proving that he was dead wrong.

Anyway, I was tired as hell doing my job in the morning and checking out and moving to Borgata, so I crashed for several hours and woke up about an hour ago making dinner for the kids.

Below is the view from my room which is the same as the other day except it's 1 floor down and 2 doors down the hall.

We are in non-smoking rooms unless some asshole previous guest smoked in the room which does happen time to time.

I have extremely keen sense of smell, so slightest smell of smoke in the room we ask for a room change.

There is no secret. Unless the guy is Phil Ivey marking cards. He may have a betting strategy. Even me the biggest degenerate gambler ever knows that. And I play baccarat a lot. Its my drug of choice along with sports and horses.
I love the Asian culture and I think they take great pride in being family people but this just doesn't seem like a good idea. Maybe if it was vegas and you were staying at nobu, delano or mgm sky suites where you would be ways away from the actual casino.
Obv you have a lot more control gambling than I do but even you could have a bad night or go on tilt and I would think it would not be good for the kids to see that.

I almost never played baccarat until I ran into a thread about a guy winning 700K in short 6 months in 2019. I think it was only about 3 months ago when I first saw that thread.

His win streak and the amount he won is an incredible feat and what's more incredible is that he never had a losing month in those 6 months.

He didn't divulge his full betting strategy as it is subjective to different individuals and what each player sees on the derived roads. But, he did cover most of his strategy and I took notes.

Basically, make a choice of what road to follow and once it wins simply follow it until it's over and then repeat the process. Obviously, it's more complicated than that as he does other things, but I don't think it's too difficult to follow.

I tried with the notes I took and so far so good as I haven't lost yet (knock on wood); albeit not too many sessions. I caught streaks of 10+ wins in a row at least 3 to 4 times. It should have been more like 8 times with some trends being 18+, 21+, and 24+ win streaks, but I could not take the advantage because the tables were full and I could not sit down to play.

There is only one basic concept in gambling; bet minimum when losing and bet more when winning.

Just about NO ONE can follow that concept for some reason including myself but I'm getting better at it for sure.

My sister-in-law who doesn't gamble much gets it. My wife does not get it.

He is flat betting and that actually makes the most sense as you can just up the base minimum bets to net bigger wins instead of going up and down with the bet sizing.

My kids do ask sometimes if I won or not and I tell them honestly. Maybe they are the reason why I cannot lose big since it will be embarrassing for me to tell them that I lost bad and disappoint them. LOL

Blackjack was my main game and the only game for probably 30 years and I fared pretty decent. I would have winning sessions of over 10K more than 5 times a year with the maximum being 17K in only one session on one year, but for some reason I kept on digressing and deviating from the plan so I couldn't maintain the wins. Without a doubt, I didn't have the discipline to become a pro, so I remained as a recreational player only. I wasn't even counting then, so I cannot even imagine what the winnings would have been if I did.

When I learned about the MIT blackjack team winning so much initially, I wanted to learn card counting, but they all went broke eventually and lost a TON and that got me discouraged and I stopped looking into it and that was a mistake.

Then, I learned about an AP from AC who went to Vegas because he was practically getting banned in AC casinos. He had many consecutive years of non-losing streaks. So, I wanted to meet him and learn, but he just disappeared and there were some crazy posts about him.

What I didn't understand at the time was that he sounded totally legit and yet everyone is calling him a liar, fake, and wherever. There was even a story about him faking his death. What's up with that??? I have no clue what that was about back then, but listening to his concerns of being an AP just in the last couple of days I totally understand where he is coming from.

It took many years to run into him again on another forum and he now has 18 years of winning streak, and he said he is coming to PA next month near where I live, so I wanted to meet him by offering a room and free meals in AC just so I can watch him play as it would be the first time ever that I would get to watch an AP play but he declined.

So, that's that and I will have to learn card counting on my own. I wanted to know if he had anything special that's his own besides the basic card counting, but I won't get to find out. He says card counting isn't too hard to learn, so we will see. Practice makes perfect, so I will start with that first but I wish I was a lot younger so my brain can handle the load.

At the end of the day, this guy is living what most of us on a gambling site dreams of. Living day in/day out in a casino. The kids tagging along is questionable but since he's the parent, it's his decision.

Actually, it isn't so rosy staying in casino hotels with the kids. If no kids, then it's the best thing ever as long as you don't lose much. If you are losing, then obviously you are just paying for everything.

With the kids, they need to eat, so I have to provide 3 meals a day plus the snacks in-between although they are mostly self-sufficient with the snacks.

I also have to work, so in reality I don't really have that much time to play unless my wife is here with me or it's the weekend. But, the weekend isn't the most ideal time to play because it's just too crowded and what I need to win isn't available.

My wife used to sneak out all the time in the middle of the night when I'm asleep and if she is winning then it would not matter but her record is like 0-whatever as she never wins. I am very happy that she hasn't done that in about 3 months, but she could revert back to her old habit.

I know how her younger sister is in gambling even though she doesn't gamble much. I wish my wife has her sister's demeanor about gambling. Then, she could be a consistent winner and I wouldn't mind not playing the casino games and just focus on sports betting.

In the beginning, it was a lot of buffets but you can eat so many buffets in a row. We went through more than 300 wings in a matter of less than 2 weeks trying to dump Bally's comps. My kids are picky eaters, so providing their meals so they don't get tired of something isn't so easy.

I'm from Chicago but I've been living in Louisiana for some time. I play in Biloxi mostly at the Beau Rivage. I have no strategy (and no bankroll management) but my style of play is never go against a run or chop and always be friendly to the dealer and other people/let them cut the shoe or drive in midi bac. I also don't play every hand and if I'm not sure what to do I will play both dragons with a small tie bet to insure the dragons. My weakness is I don't give up so I will lose everything chasing losses and since I'm in debt thousands of dollars in life (see some of my other posts on this site) I will rarely quit because I need more...so I end up losing no matter what


Oh and thanks to the padres for killing last leg of my ticket. My luck is brutal.
