AFAIK

Capital punishment is usually 15 to 30+ years of court appeals.

Justice system milks it for all its worth.

Only if it's solitary confinement. Throw the lifer murderer a bible and some books and lock the jail door for good. Never let them out into the jail population for the rest of their life. No special treatment!!

I'd be up for that rather then the death penalty if it was cheaper on the tax payers.

If the criminal justice system was renamed the justice for criminals system then people would understand and we wouldn't need to ask this question any more because we have no control over what happens anyway.

I always have more compassion for the family and loved ones of the murdered victims over the bad people sitting on death row. There must be justice in this world.

Redemption for cold blooded murderers is up to God in the afterlife IMO. If there is a real change in your heart and show remorse then good for you. Still you must pay for your horrific crimes.
