Dems pulled out all the stops and kept their guy in. They motivated the voters which was something that the GOP was hoping wouldn't happen. They really need to get their act together for next year if they hope to unseat Newsome in an actual election year. Larry Elder is not the answer.

They need someone who can demonstrate the ability to govern and appeal to moderates on both sides. For a Republican to win here they need to lean middle not far right crazy. Honestly they need to focus on local political wins in the big cities, not aim for the top spot with a recall effort.

A Republican running for Governor will never win in California again. I'm convinced. Democrat voters out number Republicans 2-1 in California. It's just not happening.
