So the minority side that only had to get a minimum of 12% signatures from the voters who participated in previous election, all while being allowed 160 days to collect said signatures, plus another 120 days because of the pandemic due to a judge's order - and started the whole "fraud" , "election fraud" BS narrative before the recall was even initiated - are now upset that the incumbent won by over 65%.

A lot of people in this thread are expressing how much they DON'T like participating in a society.

So many narrow minds that can't take the time to reflect why exactly their own job exists.

Reflect and work backwards. Why does your job exist? Why is there a need for it? Why do the jobs exist for the job that needs your service? How many branches off that job tree can in turn effect 100's, if not 1000's of jobs - just from one niche sector of a certain job.

Overwhelmingly a majority of our federal/fica taxes go towards 3 things. Military/DOD, Medicare/Medicaid and SS.
All the other zhit taxes pay and/or help out for in this Country, collectively, is piddly in the grand scheme of things in how it benefits the overall economy in the larger picture.

Think about the fallout from just one DOD contractor losing business. Wherever a manufacturing/assembly plant is located - and this can go for any type of business - when a town loses and/or a plant slows down or shuts down - the trickle down effect is vast.
All the various retail, food & drink, entertainment, etc. etc. Less people purchasing new or used clothes, cars, electronics, etc. Less people going out in general leads to less businesses. Less businesses means less need for "skilled" workers. IE: All the chest thumping "I build/Fix stuff!" carpenters, electricians, HVAC, plumbing, roofing, painting, concrete, etc. etc.
Now the market is oversaturated - competition and cut-throat pricing/bidding ensues - some will get squeezed out.

Everything has to work in a BIG balancing act. A giant mix of social programs and dog-eat-dog capitalism has proven to be the best long-term sustainable plan.

We are - and never have - been close to having overall tax rates for our working class - aka everyone under 200k a yr - anywhere close to 50%
