#38it's called having rights you fking idiot, if i wanna sit in my house during a fking hurricane I will...move to China if you don't like having rights you dumbf*ck, god your literally retardedOriginally posted by vitterdSometimes you gotta think beyond yourself.
Do you care about hospitals overflowing? How about nurses who are over worked and exposed because of the unvaccinated? What about emergency patients that are not Covid related and can’t get a bed because they are filled by unvaccinated people?
It’s like these people who stay in their house when a hurricane is coming after being told to evacuate. Then they are waiting to be rescued. You’re putting others at risk. That’s the way you have to look at this.Comment -

#46Originally posted by VeggieDogThat's my point. If you're vaxxed, why do you care if the unvaxxed have to pay their hospital bill?
In your OP you called the unvaxxed dumbasses. Why do you care if the dumbasses go bankrupt because they can't pay their hospital bill?
What is this obsession you have for the unvaxxed?
I have no obsession but in life sh*t rolls downhill.
Hospital bad debt is usually a very small percentage of revenue that can be written off.
But, if a massive amount of patients take up critical care beds and don't pay their hospital bills, then hospitals will have a severe shortage of revenue.
Therefore, the costs of healthcare will rise b/c hospitals can and will raise prices for services and renegotiate contracts with insurers.
Insurers will then raise the costs of coverage offered to employers, individuals, etc. This would raise premiums, copays, deductibles, etc to make up for the change.
Employers will then logically take more money out of their employees paychecks for health coverage.
Leaving the employee / patient / regular mofos with much less money in their direct deposits / checks while also facing higher healthcare bills.
The sh*t rolls downhill. Businesses will find a way to make up the money. The people will get fukked, yet again.Comment -

#51Big Hospital and Big Pharma want the bucks that only Big Insurance can pay.Originally posted by Brock Landers* *“Coronavirus patients who end up hospitalized — the vast majority of whom are unvaccinated — are increasingly likely to be on the hook for their medical bills.”
“Early in the pandemic, most insurers waived out-of-pocket costs for coronavirus hospitalizations.
“But with vaccines readily available, many patients are once again on the hook for deductibles and co-pays, which could make remaining unvaccinated a lot more expensive.”
It's a Sisyphean dilemma.

#64Not at all though with a little thinking. PCP offices tend to not have the capabilities to store the vaccine in the temperatures it needs to be stored in. Also how many vaccines is one doctors office going to give out on a daily basis? Maybe if they are lucky 3-5. Then combine that with the shelf life of these vaccines once they are open makes PCPs not an effective way to distribute the vaccine.Originally posted by MinnesotaFatsStill can't get a vaccine from your primary care physician thou...
