    Lots of nostalgia, men.
    Sure, these old actors and films of the 60's, 70's, are better enjoyed by me because I know these kind character actors are gone forever, and I was lucky enough to see them all.

    Kirk Douglas as Doc Holiday, was nipped out by Kilmer's Doc portrayal as Doc in Tombstone, but he was also allowed much more freedom with his role.
    Kirk played Doc as being subdued quite a bit, but his Doc also had an explosive temper, where Kilmer's was playing more like drunken clown. A killer clown though, yes.

    Kirk Douglas checked out at the age of 104, this, after surviving a horrible helicopter crash, which left him severely messed up, physically, for the rest of this long life.

    One scene from O.K.Corral.
    * Some competition from tombstone.

    Whoever had the idea to have Wyatt slink out of town on that wagon and say "It's over," and meanwhile, the bad guys joke and make fun of him, was really a stupid idea, by having Wyatt look like a quitter and even maybe, a coward.
    Bad idea. No, terrible idea to put that scene in a fine western movie like Tombstone.

        Not bad for a Jew named Issur Danielovitch

        I remember loving the movie 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea as a kid and watching it over and over.

          We have to disagree, Fats.

          Tombstone was great, so was Gunfight at the O.K. Corral, in 2 or 3rd place losing only because of rating restrictions of the time.
          Number 1, because of more than one reason, though--I fell in love Claudia, forever.
