My buddy has a good sized used car lot. He bought an adjacent lot last year and loaded up on cheaper cars during fall/winter.
He was cleaning up while prices were up and competition was low on inventory.
Probably be the best year he will ever have.

My wife got lucky too, buying her new SUV right before the crunch.

Yeah, awesome story. Yes, there's something going on in the Used Car market.

Way I see it, there aren't THAT MANY people seeking out hi-end new cars. More seeking Used Cars, so more people bidding on the same item.

Salud, peace. That's all I'm trying to do. Convert USD into invested assets that I expect to appreciate at a rate equal to (or better than) inflation.

2021 is the year of inflation, imho. In six months, I think it will be indisputable.

BTW, I expect to make very few sport-bets going fwd. Maybe a few, but not many. The break-even rate is too hi, when u think about break-even is losing purchasing power.

Bump. I'll occasionally bump a post in here, if I think it has relevance:

1) Who didn't see the Inflation coming? Now, it's just becoming harder and harder to disguise.

2) Re: sports-betting, think about it. It's one thing to bet in a No-Inflation (or Low Inflation 2%) economy. The dollars you get BACK are roughly equal to the dollars you bought in. In an inflationary economy, it's a new game. A +10% annual inflation rate means you have to turn that $10k bankroll into $11k (+10%) just to break even!
