*Gonna start w/ mythical $10,000 dry powder.

Goal = +5% return every 60 days. 6x rollover per session would = +34% annual.

Will do my best. Good luck if u follow or fade. Will try to post a quick rationale for each play.

Sports-bet: 579 Mem +5 (-109). $109 to win $100. People buying into the "home cooking" based on recent trend. People forget how lite GoldSt is this year, more of a name.

Stocks: 1 share VO. Cost = $230.

Good Luck in this thread and, especially with sports, do your best to be selective. Don't force the plays and it's probably best not to "play them all" either, but only because that's on oddly volatile yet even keeled way to play, for lack of a better term. It can really test your time horizon.

Bought: Unopened Box - 1990-91 NHL Upper Deck Hockey - French Hi Series. $80 cost.

In hockey, the Canadian/French version tends to run much higher than the American counterpart. See OPC vs Topps. Has to do w/ the lower Canadian print run.

Love this crop of rookies. Long list of HOF rooks:

*Modano, Belfour, Blake.
*Jagr, Sundin in draft-class
*Bure, Fedorov, and Scott Niedermeyer in high #s

I think Roenick and Mogilny can still make the HOF. Only big one that UD missed was Marty Brodeur (who is in the Score set).

Yesterday Atl was the play, and it turned it was winner too.

Here's that NBA Contrarain Fund. Note that I jumped into the playoffs because, in my opinion based on my work, the NBA contrarian markets have been depressed for awhile, multi season in fact. I expected a playoff bounce and maybe the market itself will start to uptick.

Also note that I messed up on the first play because 4.5 was available but I posted the 4 (-101) out of greed...

It's tough to process the whole spectrum, from cryptos to sports.

What are some of your qualifications for contrarian Chucky?

With the cryptos, how are you determining sentiment? There's no right or wrong answer really (well I guess there is some things obviously wrong, but you know what I mean).

For example, you could be waiting for charts to get so depressed, sort of depressed, but then it holds there, sideways, until that talk of bouncing and buying dissipates. Then you strike.

Things like that. What do you look for?
