First of all, covid vaxx much more effective than flu vaxx. Yes, a "breakthrough case: is possible, but almost certainly will be mild and in most cases asymptomatic. I'm still looking for numbers as to how many vaxxed people have been hospitalized or died from covid. I just can't find it, seems to be practically nonexistent or we'd be hearing about it a lot with the number of vaxxed people. So yeah, I believe I'm pretty much safe from covid complications.

Yeah, look at polio. It didn't just go away. The vaccines created herd immunity -- doesn't require 100% vaccination for herd immunity. But for the polio vaccine, it would still be around.

That's the thing. It's just like it really never happened in my world if I never heard of it.

News and hype, masks and low reported deaths made me aware of Covid.

I swear if I never heard of the Covid Virus and never read the news or turned on the tv I would have never known it ever happened. The mask wearing people eventually would have gave it away though.

I don't know anyone that died from it in my circle of family and friends. I would just consider it a flu for anyone that got it and not think twice about it. Including when I got it.
