It must've actually been good. The way he describes it is making me more intrigued.

The story behind it is not and completely made up

It's a fantasy/sci fi/horror show that tells a fictional story drawing on the uncomfortable history of race of the US. It's not a Ken Burns documentary.
When does the book burning commence??????????

Wrong....Yet again
The show opens (5 minutes in) with text on the screen stating the folowing:
Between 1916 - 1970, roughly 6 million African-Americans relocated from The rural Southern United States to the Northeast, Midwest and West.
Widely known as the Great Migration, many black families were drawn to California by the promise of industrial jobs and a chance to leave the Jim Crow South behind.
On September 14, 1953, Henry and Livia Emory moved their family from Chatham County, North Carolina to Compton, California.
The following occurred over 10 days in the family's new home at 3011 Palmer Drive.
Clearly leading ppl to believe (Specifically Black Americans) that its based on true events.
Total Bullsh!t and you wouldn't understand if you haven't watched it.

This show was ok. It took the race stuff way too far. They had a deranged white family pin down and rape a black mom as they put her newborn in a pillowcase and swing it around violently tossing it from person to person until the baby was dead. Cat in a bag they kept screaming. Was messed up. I quit watching after that bs episode

I saw it already, so whatever, but I think this type of post is supposed to be preceded by SPOILER ALERT.
