There were no flu cases where I live. Usually get tens of thousands confirmed every year and zero this year.

It had an effect for sure. But not enough to completely eradicate it. I'm sure some went undetected or were labeled in with Covid.

Flu testing is double this year and the tests for flu and covid 19 are unique. If you test positive for Covid 19 you have covid 19, the test results cannot be confused for influenza. Clearly the health measures being taken to prevent the spread of convid 19 are working well on other less infectious respiratory diseases like the flu; so flu numbers are way down.
