Anyone else having trouble handling hard liquor as they age?

It's age. i'm experiencing the same thing. good thing is i get a nice buzz going quickly but the next day i feel like absolute crap.

For some reason Irish and Tennessee whisky I can't tolerate anymore but can hammer Bourbon or Canadian whisky. 10-12 shots throughout the day gets it done. Always take a shot of water after every shot and take a big swig of pickle juice before bed 👍

I quit drinking few weeks ago. My place is cleanest it’s ever been and I’m gambling better than I have. I do miss it though but the hangovers were getting bad. I’m 36. I’ll probably resume when the pool opens.

Got 2 dilute it, otherwise it pollutes U. 2 ibuprofum B4 passing out lessens headaches.

The opposite for me I can't do beer anymore I don't know why always feel like shit and I get crazy headaches, especially from miller. Only drink a few glasses of JD or Crown on rocks until I get a good buzz. This happened around 28-30 makes no sense.

I am the same way just drink Crown Royal black or bourbon. I think this is just nature's way. How many people in their 20's do you see drinking glasses of whiskey and how many people 40+ do you see drinking a case of beer?

If I drink more than 2 glasses of red wine I feel like I’m going to die the next day.

Feel way better the next day when I drink bourbon instead of beer or wine.
