I’m in the middle of mine. Cleaned the books in December of 2020 because I like to keep it clean year to year and start zero balance. I’ve basically ran up $400 to almost $50k in 8 weeks. A combination of hitting 5 nice parlays and increasing my units as I go. What’s yours?

Here are some of the details:

I’ve had a few runs but this has been really something. All started 1/2. I met a buddy for drinks/dinner at Rampart in Vegas. I played a 4 teamer at $210 to pay $2100 because I torched the other $190 on a roulette and I played. I have posted some plays and tailed many others. Some were just piss poor chase plays that hit. I’m usually a very up and down bettor but this has been a steady run.

Marshall -2 winner
Oregon State -2 winner
Evansville +6 winner
Kentucky -2 winner

And then effing Kentucky went to double over time and finally won. Then hammered a teaser and parlay 2 days later and won again. At that point I had $5k and started doing $220 to win $200/$550 to win $500 and have been increasing since and taking shots. Hit my last 3 parlays. On a roll.... this week so far:

Wish I would have tracked it in a thread but there hasn’t been anything scientific to this. I have hit the big plays and only lost the smaller ones. Even the ones I sent $2k+ have mostly hit except Clippers/Nets over last Sunday. Tailed solid posters here. Last week was really the only bad week. This week is insane.

Here’s my problem though... I have about $25k in cash and took $2500 from that Sunday for bitcoin and stupidly deposited it in sportsbook.ag because I knew they would add it to my account fast and I didn’t want to drive to reload William Hill or BetMGM in Vegas. They have paid before but you never know. That’s all I got. I’ll chuck some darts later today.

I haven’t played @ Sportsbook.ag since 2002 when they decided to stiff me for 18k, because I used a sister site of theirs & collected bonuses from multiple accounts. SBR couldn’t even help me back then with Bill Dozer in company. Anyways my best run was in late 2018 I ran up 100 deposit to 55k & end up collecting 40k. I basically hit a 7 team parlay for around 10k & started betting nearly 5-10k a game for a month & stopped. My normal play on straights is 1k & I throw in 100 parlays from time to time.

Only way to get up that big is to take the shots with their money. I wouldn’t feel good about going to the ATM and pulling that kind of money of mine out on a game. Have I? Sure. Just not something I’m interested in. I do like the occasional parlay just for fun. I know it’s mostly dead money but hitting them or even getting down to the last game is the fun part. Luka killed me on a 5 teamer the other night but I had to just laugh because the guy is a killer and he hit the step back from half court about.

The question is: will I get paid? It will be slow for sure.

I was running bad so I cashed out a few k and only left myself $200 in my pokerstars account.
I hit the headsup tables and worked the 200 into about 16k.
While playing $10/20 HU. We got it all in on the flop when I flopped nut flush and he flopped 2 pair.
He rivered the full house for a 11k pot. I cashed out 8k and then lost the remainder.

I live in Vegas but have used offshore either for a better line, Bitcoin deposit or when I’m traveling for business. I don’t get the slow pay either but even local William Hill tied up some cash as they “investigated my account”

This balance is all profit. $5,000 a week until its zeroed out hopefully. The 3% fees suck though and the wait.

But I had requested $5,000 on a Monday earlier in the month and got paid on Wednesday. Then requested $5,000 again and was paid same day. Haven't had that happened ever but it was right after Super bowl

Ran up a 100$ deposit to 300k+ with half on heritage half on 5dimes. Like you I hit a nice parlay then went on a heater increasing my units. That I had like 25k on that heat game where ray allen tied it with the clutch 3 at the buzz and went on to win. Was fun going to 10 grocery stores a week picking up mg’s and WUs for months. They were so curious what I did for a living. I always told them I ran an international business. Cashed out mb 30% bc of how slow the payouts and limits were back then. Went on a comical losing streak Dougtushyterror style to blow the last 100k remaining. I lived like a king for a long time. Would’ve been soooo much better to be on that run in the btc days. I’d park 90% of it in a wallet and watch it grow. Hopefully I can go on a heater like that again one day soon. There was no better feeling than getting like 8k cash back from heritage each quarter during it. Thought for sure they wouldn’t allow it bc of my winnings but they did

Nice. Is poker still like that? I remember a time when everyone thought they were the next World Series winner! I never got into it because I have limited patience... but the older I get I walk by the poker room and think to myself- I’d love to just sit there and chill for 5-6 hours, not today. I’d be the guy you cleaned out.
