She's super liberal and all about helping people... so she starts a donation thing for local homeless here in Ft Myers.

Specifically, she says they need things like deodorant, female plugs, shave kits and socks, also canned foods are always good as many are starving.

Coincidentally, I received a stupid gift for Christmas, it was an advent calander of socks. 15 days of socks, some ankle high, some tube, etc.

Unfortunately, the socks also were each a different food...like one pair had a picture of a hot dog, another pair was onion rings, another a sub sandwich...the thought never crossed my mind this would be offensive.

Did I offend here? Was the donation of food themed socks patronizing?
