A fav of mine from The-Ville is Quiet Hollers. The eponymous self-titled album from 5-6 years ago is probably one of the best indie/independent albums to come out of Louisville, ever.
Louisville actually has a huge local music scene. Pre-pandemic, on any given night there was probably 100+ bars/pubs/taverns/clubs/venues/etc. with live music going on in the city/county.
