A young woman from Israel who was recently crowned the "most beautiful" in the world said she had no idea she was being considered for the international prize.


Yael Shelbia, 19, snagged the top spot on TC Candler's latest "100 Most Beautiful Faces of the Year" list, alleging the honor was a shock.

"I was very surprised, I didn't even know I was participating in this contest," the teen said in a Thursday interview with The Sun. "It's very exciting and flattering. I don't know why they chose me, I think beauty is so individual and all women are beautiful."

He is telling the truth. If you use a non-thirsty man's objective ratings, Shakira would be 6.5 tops, absolutely.

I personally don't care about looks as long as you are 6+ and pleasant to be around, which is far more rare for women these days. A 7 who is good, loyal and takes care of you is worlds better than any other combo because you ain't getting an 8+ these days without a ton of baggage and attention issues. Technology has just made this impossible, unless she is a unicorn with a father who kept her in check and is religious ... like I said, unicorn.
