But, I also know A LOT of people who had a very rough time with it. Many, still have symptoms months later. I also know several people who have died. Including young people. Just because you had an easy time with it and the 3 people you know, does not mean EVERYONE will have the same result. Why do you feel the need to minimize this virus, just because you weren't impacted? Do you really think people are going to the hospital for no good reason? Do you really think people are just making it up? Why don't you talk to Anthony Towns who's had 7 family members all die to this virus, including his young mom. A college buddy got diagnosed on a Friday and was dead Sunday. For you to claim that it only effects the vulnerable is cruel and uninformed. Where I live as of 8:00pm tonight there is a curfew you get caught out after 8.. fines from 1K-6k.

Have you had Covid? I've had it and had no symptoms at all. I know a few others who have had it and only one had symptoms which was loss of smell for a month.

Or do you think it causes longer term damage? I've had a few nurses explain the same thing, it seems to be deadlier for people who smoke alot or are very obese as it affects the lungs.

For most healthy people it is the sniffles at worst that I know of.

Because China shuts EVERYTHING down when 1 person gets covid. They do not let it spread like dummies in the US. If we would have done what was necessary back in March, we would not have hundreds of thousands of people dead, thousands of people in hospitals. The US response to a global pandemic was criminal. We should have shut shit down and traced every person with the virus. Even today, we don't do contact tracing. We are third world level in handling this virus. What good is it when certain cities try to quarantine when the city next door won't? If we all would have sacrificed for 2/3 weeks. This virus would have been defeated. We are still fukking around with this virus, because too many people don't care about it, think it's a hoax, think their freedoms are being challenged. Well hello, a year later and we're still not free. Suck it up buttercup for 2 weeks and this virus would be gone. But it takes a total commitment from everyone, something that will never happen because we have too many selfish people.
