The Department of Public Health will be responsible for enforcing the new law

Shawn Richards, co-owner of the cannabis dispensary Berner’s on Haight, said banning cannabis and tobacco smoking indoors would take away people’s “free will and rights”

“These supervisors need to tackle the real issues, and not issues that dictate people’s movements and whereabouts and how we function in society,” he said

Oh, they want the govt involved plenty, just for their causes

They want the govt involved in suspending the constitution, implementing martial law and a revote for potus

They want govt nvolved in telling women what they can and cannot do in regards to their bodies
They want govt involved in re-districting states and counties for purposes of gerrymandering (back to Nixon/Reagan days)
They want the govt involved to ensure dark money can continue to pour into pac’s and elections

again, they want govt involved in plenty... and at least a dozen other causes thwt I dont need to spell out

Also, historically the republican party has had more legislation influencing what goes on in a persons bedroom than the dems

And yes, i understand my examples are drastically different than smoking indoors. But thats the point. Dems are nitpicking bullshit like that, and republicans are intervening in much more important, far-reaching ways

i'm a republican Californian, i'm all for smoking being illegal in apartments. Live in a house now, but if I moved to an apartment, don't want to smell someone else cigarettes in my apartment.
I am cigar smoker though so i would have to find a place to do that. But wouldn't do it inside of the apartment anyways
