Right now the GOP has won 50 Senate seats, meaning that the Democrats MUST win BOTH Georgia seats to break even and control the Senate because of the VP's tie-breaking vote if needed. GOP Inc. Senator Will Purdue has 49.7% of the votes cast. It would not take many votes for him to cross the 50% threshold and give the Senate to the GOP. The outlook for the Democrats to win the Senate is grim, at best.
