Trump and a lot of other people like him
I grew up in Oklahoma and still have a ton of family there.
They were good people until 12 years ago. Once Obama got elected something flipped inside of them and they became full of hate and vitriol,couldn’t turn off fox news and the way they began talking about America was very radicalized
Now its just 10x worse
My own brother told me he’s not only ready for civil war but wants it, even if it means brother vs brother

Oklahoma is actually pretty cool and a nice, affordable place to live. The OKC Thunder transformed downtown and they probably have the best food truck scene of any city/state I’ve lived inComment -
I lived in DFW in the 90s and my ex in-laws built a big house in Noble, OK. Just a little south of OKC I think. Nice people and loved getting out of the city and just walking our dog in the woods. I get as shitty as anyone, but we have to remember what we have in common more then what we fight overComment -

We went to a comedy club in downtown OKC on NYE in 1995 and I remember people pointing out how the awnings on the buildings were burned from the OKC bombing blast and we were like 2-3 blocks away. You can get pissed off at the government or whatever, but Jesus? Calm down.

Oh man, Noble Oklahoma
I’ve only been there once, many years ago and I was in high school
I had met this chick at a party a week or two before and she happened to live in Noble. She invited me over as her dad was at work for the night. So I make the trip down from OKC, and on the way into town I get pulled over by the only cop in town. Probably speeding because she had me all worked up
Cop asks me where Im headed and I tell him to meet a chick but i cant find the house. He asks me exactly where and I give him the address... IT WAS HIS FUKKING DAUGHTER
He told me to get out of Noble and if I ever returned he’d shoot me on site lol.. true story. Back in the mid 90’s.
She called me later that night and told me her old man was pissed off and that she wanted to meet up at a mutual friends house the next night... that was the last time we spokeComment -

HAHA ! Sort of makes you wonder if he knew you were coming and ambushed you ! Oklahoma is a good place to live. I have quite a lot of land with cattle out here. I could not live in a Liberal state. Now Norman is getting way too Liberal with the college. My daughter goes to Oklahoma state in Stillwater which is much less Liberal.Comment -

Oklahoma is a good place to live, I agree. I grew up in and graduated from Midwest City but lived in OKC, Norman, Yukon, Mustang, etc... kinda been all around
We talk about moving back, maybe northern Guthrie or eastern Choctaw... close enough to the city but far enough away from the city, ya know.
And Im an OkSt grad myself. Working at Eskimo Joes, hanging out at Tumbleweeds, and that was about it lol... great memories that I’ll cherish foreverComment
