after the first results came in for Crooked Hillary on election eve in 2016, Trump went to +1160. then it hung around +1000 for a few minutes buy slowing started going down. +900, +850 etc until Trump was something like +120 and in a matter of seconds, it went to Trump -1100.

This is not 2016. This is 2020.
What is different? PLENTY.
Firstly, Hillary never had 50% or higher in the Swing State polling. She had 47% to 49%. There were many more undecided voters that Trump captured and was able to turn the error margin into a slim victory. Biden is polling in these tight State races at 50% to 52%. BIG DIFFERENCE because Trump is not within the margin of polling area and there are considerably less undecideds in these Swing States in 2020.
Secondly, Hillary took the Black vote for granted in 2016. They only came out at 20% in 2016 as compared with 2012 when they came out considerably higher for Obama. It's estimated that they will come out at 23% for Biden which is a huge difference in close Swing States like North Carolina.
Thirdly, Biden set an all time record for August campaign contributions in with $360m as compared with $160m for Hillary in August of 2016. So what does Biden do in September? He breaks his own record with $380m in contributions. Do you have any clue what that does to campaign spending in the Swing States during October? That is NOT GOOD for an incumbent President who only has a mid 40% approval rating.
