Someone spammed the request password reset link with usernames.

Just ignore the emails.

It was disabled and will be updated so it needs more than a username

Another weird thing that happened yesterday around the same time was I received an signup email from a company called oddschecker, which I’ve never used or heard of. Today I received this email from oddschecker. Anyone else get this?

Hello,

Yesterday, we saw a high volume of sign-ups in a short space of time – one of the email addresses that was used to sign-up for an oddschecker account was yours. Our system has subsequently alerted us to the fact that a bot has created several accounts on our website using a variety of real and fake email addresses.

We have completed our technical investigation into the event and will delete all of the data, inclusive of email addresses, that was used to register these fraudulent accounts.

To confirm, this will mean that oddschecker will no longer hold any information on you and the account that was created will be deleted immediately. Whilst it is clear that a bot has sourced your email address from a third party source unconnected to oddschecker, we will be taking further steps to make it even more difficult for unnatural third parties to sign up to our mailing list going forwards.
