Hmmm, seems like Idaho is the only state where only males can be charged. I thought more states leaned heavily on men but they don’t make the distinction. The laws vary greatly be state, some you can be tried as an adult at the age of 15, some the age of consent can be as young as 12 up to 18. 16 and 17 seem to be the most popular ages. The punishment is all over the map. Some are simple fines while others are close to life in prison. Some don’t matter if you didn’t know the age while others only if you knew they were a minor.
