They consider the use of "thug" to be cultural appropriation.

That couldn't be further from the truth. Thug originates in like 14th century India.

How is one skin color seriously going to claim "thug" and why would they want to?

Yep, it was 100% bullshit and misguided. The pc crowd said the word “thug” has evolved in meaning and its usuage now is to pain african americans in a negative light, therefore two white people should not be using the word “thug” and mentizing off off it. Many BLM’ers are calling for them to give up every cent they ever made when called “Thug Kitchen”

They have skme killer recipes but I’ll never again buy one of their books. Just cant do it, I loved the name, loved the food and the way they wrote their book. Now I say fukk em.... But if you ever want a vegan type book that is absolutey killer and you’ll probably use some of the recipes for the reat of your life, pick up their first book
