The thing is if they just followed exactly what Canada did, they would have closed the bars for a few more weeks and have cases stay low.

Social distancing and (masks)face coverings with close proximity to people. Is the safest way for now. Things seem so divided, one side says the virus is nothing, the other side says we are doomed. It’s supply and demand plus taxes. For instance I live in a tourist beach city that has 15000 full time residents and this week 75000 tourists. We have maybe 5 dedicated grocery stores two being Walmart’s. When you close the restaurants like we did 2 months ago our grocery stores have no food on the shelves we had that problem two months ago with maybe 25000 tourists here

Then Fl has no income tax the state is dependent on what’s called a bed tax each tourist pays, so if you close the restaurants again we lose a lot of tourists and the cities and state can’t pay employees. It’s really that simple it’s all about money for the cities and state.

I’m under the belief Florida opened every thing back up to soon, it went from closed to wide open. Don’t believe the news saying we are 50% open that’s bs it’s fully open here, until today with the bars again jmo
